My God, My God, Why Have You Forsaken Me? | Good Friday

Have you ever had moments where God felt far away? When your prayers seem to go nowhere? When you wondered if God is even there at all? We don't like to sit in these moments for very long because they're heavy and unsettling, but they're also deeply human. In fact, when we experience these moments, we're in good company! These times of feeling God's absence are woven throughout the story of God's people - and even Jesus, the Son of God, entered into the darkness of our suffering and became one with us in that suffering.
