Jesus > Our Sacrifice

There's a lot of talk of blood in the Christian faith which can seem so strange. But looking at the history of the Christian faith, it was necessary. According to the law, priests needed to constantly make sacrifices in the temple so that the shed blood of innocent animals covered over the sins of the people. But in Christ, there is a final, eternal sacrifice that doesn't just cover over, but that puts to death our sin once and for all! We no longer need to make sacrifices because Christ became our final sacrifice!
