Lament for a City (Palm Sunday)

Each Easter we celebrate Palm Sunday, the day of Jesus' triumphal return into the city of Jerusalem; a return to a people who long for peace. But Jesus is not filled with joy...in fact, he weeps and laments for a city and a people who don't know what true peace looks like. And yet, Jesus, the Prince of Peace enters the city to demonstrate a new kind of peace.
