A Step Forward

For those familiar with the Bible, the book of Leviticus may be considered the least helpful and meaningful. It's filled with blood, sacrifices and obscure and seemingly petty instruction on how to live. And when judged as a modern audience, it may be a bit regressive. But in the ancient world, it provided meaningful steps forward in living with the Divine. This God really WAS different and His instruction was filled with grace and mercy, not fear and trembling. This system actually provided assurance, not doubt and anxiety.
