A Future in Forgiveness

When someone has wronged you, have you been told to "forgive and forget?" It's a nice sentiment, and perhaps easier to do when you've been wronged in a small way - someone cuts you off in traffic or says something cruel that they later regret - but what about those times when the wrong just seems so big and so unforgiveable? How many times do we forgive someone?
