Sabbath & Justice

Scripture teaches us that sabbath rest isn't just intended for God or humanity, it's for ALL of creation. Creation that is able to enter God's Sabbath rest will be characterized by God's shalom & flourishing. When we practice Sabbath, we place ourselves in proper relationship to God; finite creatures within a finite creation, obedient to and operating within the dignified limits we have been given by God. But often we live as though our actions don't have ripple effects that tear at the fabric of creation. So how do we embody Sabbath shalom as we relate to creation?
