The Hope of Peace

Do you have peace like a river in your soul? Often peaceful moments can feel less like a robust flowing river, and more fleeting, fragile and uncommon. We find ourselves longing for peace - and not just a moment - but something that lasts. This lasting peace - this shalom - is at the heart of who God is; in fact, He is the very embodiment of peace! So naturally, Jesus defines those who follow Him as peacemakers. But this begs the question, how do we go about making peace?
