Humble

In this third upside down blessing we learn of another a kingdom life characteristic. Too often understood as weakness, the attribute of meekness is at its core all about humility - about the lack of a me-first attitude. The meek experience kingdom happiness because they are free; they don’t have a self-promotional agenda, but live confidently in God’s plan. They rely not on their own strength and competence, but know their dependence upon God and His strength.
