Sorrow

This second blessing builds upon the first - our brokenness in spirit, our inability to solve our own problems. So how do we respond to this problem of being poor in spirit? Jesus says that we respond by naming and mourning the sin in our lives. We must begin by naming and lamenting so that we can turn from it and find freedom in the divine comfort that people who live the kingdom life possess.
