Endure

The church in the west has taken a beating in this global pandemic. The short-term outlook doesn't seem particularly hopeful for the church. But Jesus is faithful. Jesus will sustain His church. It is the one institution, the one Body, that will never fail. Companies and governments will rise and fall, but the church will endure. In that powerfully hopeful context we will recommit to the local church; for it is the expression of church in which we can love and be loved, shape and be shaped, encourage and be encouraged. The life of the local church is worth it.
