Trust & Let Go

Psalm 46 describes an environment of chaos, upheaval and destruction. In a globally connected world, we hear about tragedy every single day. While living in the information is supposed to be positive, we seem to live in a world with more bad news than we have capacity to process and handle. The solution is neither complete detachment, nor engaged cynicism, but trust in God as our refugee and strength. Trust allows you to unplug. Trust allows you to rest. Trust allows you to not know about everything, everywhere, all the time. It is God’s world. Not yours.
