Jesus' Rescue Mission

Jesus life, death and resurrection was a rescue mission—spiritually of course, but also right here, right now, in tangible and physical ways. In Luke 4, Jesus repeats the prophetic promises about the coming messiah. And those who claim to be followers of this messiah have been given the same concrete rescue mission for our day.
