Feeding of the 5,000

As Jesus continues travelling and performing amazing miracles, his following quickly grows. A crowd gathers to hear him preach but soon their physical needs catch up with them and they're hungry and without food. Rather than sending them away, Jesus tasks his disciples with feeding them...all 5,000+ of them. This stretches the disciples to open themselves up to the needs of others and look beyond their own immediate resources by imagining the expansive, God-sized possibilities that exist when they trust Jesus with what they have.
