Eternal

God has a very different perspective on time than us. We measure everything in time. The idea of eternity really scared me as a kid and if I really ponder it still today it sort of freaks me out. It is hard to grasp. Yet, eternity is God’s measurement. We are invited to measure life, not just in moments, but from His very long (eternal) divine perspective. When we trust that we belong to God in both life and death, our panic and impatience gets an infusion of calm.
