Build & Bless

It may be tempting to assume that the Bible takes a rather hardline on wealth. But the Bible doesn't say that money itself is the root of all evil, rather that the "love of money is the root of all kinds of evil" (Timothy 6:9-10). In fact, the Bible talks about the dangers of living "unproductive lives" (Titus 3:14). But the purpose behind these good works and living productive lives is to gain something to share with those in need - not to hoard it for ourselves. We're called to build so that we can bless others.
