Jump & Trust

Joshua was the leader of the people of Israel when they finally finished their wilderness wandering and crossed the Jordan River into the Promised Land. Yet, this crossing was a challenge in itself: the Jordan River was flowing at its peak! How do we fare during transitions when life offers no bridge, ford, or boat? As the priests carrying the Ark of the Covenant to the bank of the Jordan discovered, there was no option for them except to jump and trust God. Moments like these, when we overcome seemingly insurmountable obstacles with a power that is not our own, stand as a testimony to the goodness of God.
