A Light Has Dawned

This beautiful promise of a coming Saviour is set in the context of Judah’s disobedience and forthcoming judgment. There will be darkness, but a time is coming when light will burst forth. It is one of the clearest messianic prophecies looking forward to Christ first coming and His final return. We live in that in between time, clinging to this promise and seeking to live in His light.
