Children are a valued part of our faith community and our nursery provides a safe, secure and loving place to leave them while you participate in Sunday morning worship. Our nursery is run by volunteers who love engaging and caring for children!

Children up to the age of three are invited to our nursery space.

We have a separate nursery space just for our infants & crawlers with loving and capable volunteers to look after them.

In the toddler area there's lots of toys, books and fun to be had! The nursery also has its own washroom for those who are potty training.

A separate quiet room is available for children to take a nap, or for nursing mothers to feed their baby.

Caring for your children is a responsibility that we take seriously. Here are some of the things that we have in place to ensure the safety of all the kids in our care.

  • All volunteers have recently completed a Vulnerable Persons Police Check through the London Police Service before working in the nursery.
  • The nursery and the toys are frequently cleaned & sanitized by a group of volunteer parents.
  • There is quick access to an Emergency Exit and a Fire Safety Plan in place should the need arise.
  • Talbot Street Church is a Nut-Free Facility, as such, we request that parents don't send snacks along to nursery. We provide the toddlers with an Arrowroot cookie during the service. If your child has any allergies, please make us aware of them so we can document it on our Allergy Information Sheet.
  • Talbot Street Church has a Safe Church Policy to, among other things, ensure the safety of our children.
  • Our nursery is located on the FIRST FLOOR in the southeast corner of the building.
  • You can sign in your child at the nursery before the service begins and you'll be given a number to present after the service to pick up your child.
