Prayerfully

The Apostle Paul, the greatest, most successful evangelist to ever live, asks the faithful in the church he nurtured and pastored in Ephesus to pray for him. But not just general prayers, and not even specific prayers about his present dire circumstances (imprisonment), but that he would be given the words to say to fearless share the good news of Jesus. One might be forgiven for thinking that every time Paul talked, he proclaimed Jesus with such eloquent conviction that another person trusted in Jesus. But even Paul knew that he needed divine empowerment to share the good news of Jesus—and so do we. Have you ever made it a consistent priority to pray that God would use you? What might happen if you did?
