If someone followed you around for a week and observed your life - how you spent your time, what you thought about, what you scrolled through on your phone, what you worried about at night - what would they say matters most to you? What would they say you treasure? Jesus speaks often about treasure and possessions because our treasures expose our trust and He recognized that wealth is far from being neutral, but seeks to possess us. And we can ultimately only serve one Master - God or Money.
