JUNIOR YOUTH
Youth in grades 6-8 meet on Sunday nights for games, snacks, faith conversation and fun with leaders who can (usually) keep up with their energy! We love to welcome new youth, so don’t be shy. There’s a place for you at Junior Youth!

FUN
We know a life following Jesus can be fun too! At Junior Youth, we play wild games each week, and have regular just-for-fun nights and off-site events.
RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS
We know youth have questions about the Bible and how all the pieces of faith and their real life actually fit together! Each week we explore one big faith question and youth have a chance to share thoughts in small group time.

FRIENDS
Being a pre-teen can be hard. There’s pressures and challenges that your parents may not understand, you are learning who you are in this world and what your purpose is. The good news is that you don’t have to face these challenges alone! Come and meet some friends and talk about the things that matter to you in your small group.
MENTORSHIP
According to research by the Fuller Youth Institute, youth who are surrounded by five adults who model a dynamic faith are more likely to continue growing in their faith as they become adults. Our youth leaders are chosen for their commitment to following Jesus, their love for youth and ability to mentor the next generation in their faith. Get to know our Junior Youth leaders – they can’t wait to get to know you!
FUN
Whether it's playing crazy games, competing in the annual egg drop challenge, iceskating at Victoria Park, going on a photo scavenger hunt or just hanging out and enjoying some good food - there's always a lot of laughter happening at Junior Youth!
RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS
We believe that Jesus continues to be relevant in our world today. Together we'll dive into Scripture and learn more about Christ, pray for and encourage one another and discuss tough topics in an honest and authentic way. We desire to see our youth grow in a loving relationship with Jesus.

The good news is that you don't have to face those challenges alone. Junior Youth is a great place to meet friends who are going through what you're going through. Life isn't meant to be done alone, so find some friends for the journey!

That's why we engage Christ followers who have a passion for youth as youth leaders. Our youth leaders love hanging out with kids and desire to become one of those five.
ANNUAL YEAR-END POOL PARTY
What better way to end off a year than spending the afternoon by the pool with friends? A highlight of each year is the annual pool party. Good food, sunshine, cool pool, games and time spent with friends. A great way to close off another year of Junior Youth!
ALL-NIGHTER AT THE CHURCH
What's more fun than staying up all night and watching the sun rise? How about doing it with all of your friends, at the church with fun games, movies and, of course, junk food?! The annual all-nighter is not an event you want to miss!
YOUTH CAMPING
An annual highlight for both the youth and the youth leaders, the fall camping trip is a great way to kick off the calendar year! With fun, food and lots of time to relax and hangout, this is the perfect place to get to know each other. And s'mores. There are always s'mores...
