Seniors Appreciation Day & Groundbreaking Ceremony
London Christian High welcomes grandparents and special seniors to Seniors Appreciation Day on Wednesday October 14 from 9.30 AM-1.00 PM, featuring coffee, an assembly, classroom visits, and lunch (gluten-free options available, no RSVP needed!). At 1.00 PM, our wider community is invited to attend the Groundbreaking Ceremony of our new Technology Wing! Come give thanks for God's faithfulness as we mark this exciting milestone in LCH's history!
MOVING FORWARD IN FAITH CONFERENCE // November 13-14, 2026
Diaconal Ministries Canada & Resonate Global Mission are pleased to host the Moving Forward in Faith (MFIF) conference on November 13-14, 2026 at King’s Christian Collegiate in Oakville, ON. Come and be inspired and renewed in your missional vision! Join in dynamic workshops and hear from keynote speaker, Victor Ko— a church planter of MosaicHouse in Edmonton, AB. The Moving Forward in Faith conference will equip you with practical skills and spiritual insights to better serve your neighbours!
LADIES DAY OUT // November 7, 2026
Come out for this year's Ladies Day Out on Saturday November 7 from 9.00AM–2.00PM at Compass Community Church in Strathroy—a day of praise and worship through music and speakers (Beth Fellinger, Debbie DeVries and Anita Plat-Kuiken).
The theme for the day is “Stepping In - How Are You Preparing to Step In?" Throughout Scripture, we meet ordinary women who recognized a need, responded to God, and stepped into the moment he placed before them. Their stories remind us that God still calls and positions women today. Together, we'll explore what it means to recognize God’s invitation, live into his calling, and have the courage to step in, even when we don’t feel ready or know exactly where the path will lead.
Registration is $40 (includes coffee, tea, hot chocolate, snacks, lunch and a swag bag). Register by emailing the Compass Community Church office.
